In order to be considered for an adoption, you must : 
                 1.Be at least 18 years of age.  
                 2.Have the consent of all adults living in your household.
                 3. Understand that filling out this application, does not guarantee adoption and that                       Newburgh SCATS must approve your application.
Whether  you plan to adopt a cat, or a kitten it is essential that you keep in mind that you will be making a 10-20 year PERMANENT commitment this animal

Also if we are notified of abuse of cat or kitten or a false representation of adoption application has occurred after adopting from Newburgh SCATS we will have the right to remove cat from adopter.
I also give my veterinarian permission to release any vet care records  information about my current and past pets to Newburgh SCATS. I understand that Newburgh SCATS has the right to deny my request to adopt.
